Garlic and its health benefits


           


  What is garlic? garlic is a species in the onion genus, Allium. its close relatives include the onion,shallot leek chive welsh onion and Chinese onion. itis a native to central Asian and northeastern Iran. and yes garlic is a vegetable, it has several health benefits and sure to spice up your food.  garlic has two primary varieties , softneck (ALLIUM SATIVUM) and hardneck (ALLIUM OPHIOSCORODON)

lets talk about some of its benefits

 1. BLOOD PRESSURE : it lowers blood pressure. studies have discovered that 10% of blood pressure reduced after taking garlic supplements.

2. CHOLESTEROL: it lowers cholesterol. a group of studies came together and tried out the practical part of this and discovered it to be true.

3. HEART DISEASE: it lowers the risk of heart disease.

4.COLD AND FLU: Digested garlic helps relieve cold and boost the immune system. drinking garlic juice and adding it to your meal daily will help in your fight for cold and flu.

5. SKIN: if you have got any skin infections like acne , rubbing a clove of garlic will kill the bacteria and also give you a young skin.garlic helps increase the longitivity of your skin cells according to some studies.
