Nigeria banns EU flights.

 Nigeria will enforce the principle of reciprocity in granting permission to airlines to resume operations into the country as it opens its airspace, the Federal Government said on Thursday.

According to the government, what this means is that only airlines from countries that allow flights from Nigeria will be allowed to fly into and out of Nigeria.

It specifically stated that airlines from the European Union would not be allowed into Nigeria as the EU had recently banned flights and visitors from Nigeria.

On July 2, 2020, The PUNCH reported that the Council of the European Union had opened its borders to 15 countries, excluding Nigeria.

I am 25 and i have 1million something, what should I do?

Please i need an advice on the next step i should take in life. I am a guy, 25 years of age and still living with my parents, though i am not jobless but recently my bank account just hit one million and 200 thousand naira.

So my parents are advising to buy a landed property in my home town that will take about 900 to 1 million naira. But the thing is that i am 25 and i feel at my age i should no longer be staying with my parents, so i want to rent a flat and furniture it to my taste, i feel it is time to move on, i need my freedom to finally face life like a man.

So my question is, should i purchase a landed property at 25 and continue living with my parents or pack out and start my Adult life. Note: i am not jobless".

“May I please draw your attention to the following provisions of the Broadcasting Code: Section 3.1.: Professional Rules: 3.1.1:  No broadcast shall encourage or incite to crime, lead to public disorder or hate, be repugnant to public feelings or contain an offensive reference to any person or organization, alive or dead or generally be disrespectful to human dignity.

“Also, 3.1.19: The broadcast shall not transmit content that denigrates the social norms, values and culture of the society. 

“To denigrate our elders and leaders in abusive terms is not our culture. We respect our leaders as a positive cultural value,” it added.

“We expect Broadcasters, especially anchors to show professionalism in the handling of programmes such that guest or callers that exhibit such tendency are professionally handled.

“The recourse to abusing, denigrating and insulting the President, Governors, MPs and other leaders does not show us as cultured people.”

Ever since I interviewed the embattled woman about five years ago, they have been angry and throwing tantrums like babies deprived of lollipops. But my question is who are those calling anyone a lackey?

These are shameless vultures who, out of joblessness, turned themselves into attack dogs. Please, show me one of them who can be described as accomplished in any field of human endeavor. Nigeria is the only country where government waste scarce resources on parasites who can't even defend their own existence talk less of a President. 

What is there to defend in a government that promised so much but delivered so little? I wonder why they blame everyone for their failure and frustrations. I did my job professionally and ethically by interviewing Mrs Alison-Madueke. I stand by my story that she was nursing cancer. They claimed it was false, yet President Muhammadu Buhari had an undisclosed ailment that kept him away in London for months and got healed and returned to Nigeria by the mercy almighty of God. If Buhari can recover, who says Mrs Alison-Madueke cannot enjoy the same privilege? Or was his sickness or return also fake? But it is in the nature of vultures to run around scavenging for dead bodies. Are these parasitic elements not tired of the surfeit of dead bodies that litter everywhere in Nigeria today? Only vultures take pride and delight in death.

Let's now come to the issue of Mrs Alison-Madueke. I'm too hardworking to be the lackey of anybody. I do my job well and assiduously to live on my sweat. I interviewed the former Minister and reported our encounter verbatim. There was nowhere in the story I passed judgment for or against her. They said the story was written to attract pity for her. Should I have written she did not have cancer when I had copious evidence to back her claims? 

And even if she lied by claiming to have cancer, my job as a reporter was to record and report what she told me since journalists have no means of testing anyone. 

I'm not the reason the Buhari government has not prosecuted the woman in over five years.  While they engaged in media lynching and savoured their campaigns of calumny against every imaginary enemy, they studiously ignored the massive and unprecedented corruption in their own backyard.

I remain resolute in doing my job as dictated by the best tenets of journalism. No government would tell me who to interview or not.

Finally, I will continue to do my job of promoting free speech for every Nigerian, and providing alternative and uncommon information for my readers, using my extensive networks and access to newsmakers. I will never be bullied by some supposed journalists without jobs.

Tennessee couple, torture, rape and kill lady.

 52 year old man and his 22 years old girlfriend has been accused of raping and killing a lady looking for a safe place. 

The couple used baseball to hit the lady so she wont be able to resist. 

They allegedly admitted to cutting off Paxton's body parts, breaking ligaments and bones to make her body fit into a freezer, according to the arrest warrants.  After disposing of the body, Dishman allegedly used “bleach and a Swiffer” to clean up the living room and bedroom to get rid of the blood and other evidence.

Authorities said she also cleaned the victim’s body with bleach in the shower in an attempt to get rid of evidence that may have been on it, according to the warrants.

A 22 year old singer has been sentenced to death by a sharia couth in kano

 A Nigerian man has been sentenced to death by a sharia court in kano pver a Twitter post he made concerning Prophet Mohammed. 

Back in March, it was reported that youths in Kano state stormed the Kano Hisbah office and demanded that action be taken against Yahaya Sharif-Aminu for a song he composed, containing alleged derogatory comments attributed to the Prophet Muhammad.

The youths warned that they will take laws into their hands if action is not taken.

 

Prior to the protest, the youths on Friday, February 28, stormed the family house of the singer located at Sharifai quarters in Kano Municipal Local Government Area, prompting them to flee their home. The house was then set ablaze by irate youths.

Mr. Saniniu Laizer found Tanzanite, which has a deep violet-blue colour, near his home in northern Tanzania, according to local report. 

 The third stone allegedly weighs six kilograms and has an estimated value of $2million (£1.5million ).  

The 52 Tanzania man is married to four wifes and has 30 children.  Last month, the Tanzanian government gave Saniniu a cheque for 7.74 billion Tanzanian shillings ($3.35million) for the first two stones which weighed 9.2kg and 5.8kg.

I helped arrange somethings then we started.... Cameron also came to the party as his friend is close to Nora the birthday girl. We drank, danced, wished her well and prayed for her; i was already high on drink cameron offered to lodge me in a hotel while he drops me off for work early in the morning, i was high on drink so i didn't know what happened till the next morning. I opened my eyes saw him kneeling down with a ring, i cleaned my eyes looked at the time rushed to take a shower but luckily he got me a dress. I dressd up for work and turned to him to warn him never to try this rubbish next time. I was so livid at myself for drinking so much, my head was banging and tgat Monday was really a stressful one for me, the pill i took wasn't even helping.

I left him kneeling down there and walked out; i was late for work.

Teenager found after nine days of disappearance

(CNN)A Washington teenager that disappeared for nine days was found alive in the woods over the weekend, her mother and authorities confirmed to CNN.

Gia Fuda, 18, was found on Saturday off of Highway 2, east of the town of Skykomish, which is a town about a 70-mile drive east of Seattle, according to the Kings County Sheriff's Office (KCSO).

Her mother, Kristin Fuda, told CNN she last saw her daughter on the morning of July 24. When Gia didn't respond to text messages and phone calls that evening, her parents filed a missing persons report with KCSO.

On August 1, search and rescue teams found some of Fuda's items such as her shoes, bible, bag and cellphone, her mother confirmed to CNN. Shortly after, they found Fuda nearby in a creek.

Lagos state pastor speaks against church opening

Pastor Tunde Bakare of Citadel Community church former latter rain church speaks against reopening churchs in lagos.

Reacting to Governor Sanwo-Olu's directive of reopening religious centres for services from August 7, the Pastor asked worshippers not to be “deceived by the government or religious leaders”.

 

He also disclosed that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) projected that COVID-19 may reach its peak in August.

 

Pastor Bakare said in an online service; 

 

“I have to appeal to you once again, please keep safe and do your best to stay alive. Do not let anyone, whether religious leader or governmental leader, to drive you like a sheep to the slaughter. 

“If they (the government and the disease control authorities) said that the month of August is going to be the peak of the infection, why should they ask people to rush in (re-open the churches) again?

“Please keep safe and do your best to keep alive by keeping all the necessary rules. We know that by the grace of God this pandemic like the others before it has an expiry date. It shall not see our end. We shall see its end in the mighty name of Jesus.”

Kanye West names Tidball as his Vice President

Kanye West has filed to be on Arkansas' presidential ballot and has listed Michelle Tidball, a Wyoming life coach as his vice president. 

 

According to TMZ, the rapper, 43, added his newly confirmed vice presidential running mate Michelle Tidball to the petition as he submitted the 1,000 required signatures before the noon deadline on Monday August 3. 

 

A spokesperson for the Arkansas Secretary of State confirmed to TMZ that Kanye's campaign turned in the needed 1,000 signatures to qualify for the November election ballot.

 

The forms were reportedly turned in just 15 minutes before the Arkansas' noon deadline. 

 

West has now officially listed Tidball West as his Vice President candidate after mentioning that Tidball will be his running mate back in July.

Two cousins rape their sister..

Two brothers identified as Uchechukwu Asuzu, 20, and Bright Ugochukwu, 20, have been arrested by men of the Imo state police command, for allegedly defiling their cousin, Ugochukwu Chigozirim Ehirim, 13, in Ezemanah Ezeamoruo Nkwerre, a community in the state on July 11.

 

Spokesperson of the state police command, SP Orlando Ikeokwu, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the victim was raped by her cousins after her grandfather angrily sent her out of their home.

''The victim who stays with her grandfather, was sent on an errand by her grandfather. Unfortunately, she returned home late, as a result, the grandfather sent her out of the house.
