Tillman earns her masters degree at 14years.
Tillman earned her bachelor’s degree in humanities from Excelsior College at the age of 12 years
At just 14 years of age, Dorothy Jean Tillman of Chicago has become a perfect example of black excellence after she obtained her graduate degree from Unity College in the United States.
Through distant learning, the teen prodigy grabbed her master’s degree in sustainable science and environmental planning.
According to a report by becauseofthemwecan.com, at just 8 months old she began talking, by four she was completing math problems and by nine she was starting high school.
Tillman has always loved learning and once she finished high school, she figured she should pursue her associate's degree which worked in her favour since many of the credits counted towards her bachelors.
She just kept going and at the age of 12, she earned her bachelor’s degree in humanities from Excelsior College.
Before that, Tillman earned her associate’s degree in psychology from the College of Lake County at the age of 10.
With interest in STEM, she went on to pursue a graduate course in sustainable science and environmental planning.
Tillman plans to find ways to give back to other young people looking to pursue a career in STEM.
Addressing her admirable accomplishment, she is quoted as saying that she has ‘‘been working on STEM labs for kids because I really want to go into the STEM-related field and work with kids.’’
She indicated that she might go back to school, but she plans to be an entrepreneur and use her engineering degree.
''I’m not perfect. I’m not the smartest person in the world. It just takes dedication,” she said.
Chelsea fc wants to sign Corona
Chelsea have expressed interest in Porto’s Jesus Corona, says the Mexico international’s agent, but it remains to be seen whether the versatile winger with a €30 million (£27m/$33m) release clause is “plan A, B or C”.
The Blues are piecing together their plans for the next transfer window. Several targets are said to have been identified by Frank Lampard as he seeks to further bolster his ranks at Stamford Bridge.
Among those on his recruitment radar is Porto star Corona. The 27-year-old Mexican could prove to be a useful option for Chelsea, as he is capable of operating at right-back or on the flanks as a wide attacker.
Akinwumi Adeshina.
Mr Adesina is an eloquent advocate for Africa and the bank and a good fundraiser, but his detractors say he promises more than he delivers.
"His administration hasn't always been fantastic and perhaps he has run roughshod over some people. Maybe the practices haven't always been what they should be, and the feeling is that the board just whitewashed the investigation," the insider said.
Accused of favouring Nigerians
The whistleblowers also accused Mr Adesina of preferential treatment for Nigeria and Nigerians.
"I don't think we should trivialise the issues and reduce them to anti-Nigerian sentiment," said Ms Barungi, the Ugandan-born, Lagos-based former bank employee.
"It's really more about governance concerns that require attention and the investigation to help clear the air," she added.
Mr Araba, a Nigerian, said talk of the "Nigerianisation of the bank" was false as the country was under-represented in employee numbers despite being the largest shareholder.
As the crisis at the bank escalates, employees, consultants and government officials in African capitals, as well as American foreign policy nerds, wonder how this impasse will end.
But at the Treasury building right next to the White House, Mr Mnuchin and his advisors are doubling down.
"Undertaking an independent evaluation of facts is not at odds with a presumption of innocence, and by promoting transparency and good governance, it can only strengthen the AfDB's capacity to deliver results to people across Africa," the spokesman told the BBC.
Mr Adesina's carefully curated career could crumble if a new investigation criticises his reign at the AfDB. His style is solid, but the substance is now under scrutiny.
Akinwumi Adesina is a sharp dresser known for his expensive tailored suits, immaculate white shirts and an endless supply of colourful bow ties.
But the clean public persona of the 60-year-old president of the African Development Bank (AfDB) is now being questioned after a string of corruption and abuse of office allegations from his own staff spilled into the open. Mr Adesina has denied all the allegations.
The board of governors of the 55-year-old institution met on Tuesday to discuss whether to bring in an outside investigator into the allegations concerning the Nigerian's conduct just days after the US rejected an initial inquiry that cleared him.
The prospects of an independent probe comes only three months before he was expected to be re-elected unopposed at its annual general meeting in August.
AfDB's 10 biggest shareholders:
- Nigeria: 9.1%; US: 6.5%; Egypt: 5.5%; Japan: 5.4%;
- South Africa: 4.9% Algeria: 4.1%; Germany: 4%;
- Canada: 3.8%; Ivory Coast: 3.7%; France: 3.6%
"I think AfDB is Africa's most valuable institution," said one insider who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Biggest solar flare in years.
On May 29, 2020, a family of sunspots — dark spots that freckle the face of the Sun, representing areas of complex magnetic fields — sported the biggest solar flare since October 2017. Although the sunspots are not yet visible (they will soon rotate into view over the left limb of the Sun), NASA spacecraft spotted the flares high above them.
The flares were too weak to pass the threshold at which NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center (which is the U.S. government’s official source for space weather forecasts, watches, warnings and alerts) provides alerts. But after several months of very few sunspots and little solar activity, scientists and space weather forecasters are keeping their eye on this new cluster to see whether they grow or quickly disappear. The sunspots may well be harbingers of the Sun’s solar cycle ramping up and becoming more active.
Or, they may not. It will be a few more months before we know for sure.
As the Sun moves through its natural 11-year cycle, in which its activity rises and falls, sunspots rise and fall in number, too. NASA and NOAA track sunspots in order to determine, and predict, the progress of the solar cycle — and ultimately, solar activity. Currently, scientists are paying close attention to the sunspot number as it’s key to determining the dates of solar minimum, which is the official start of Solar Cycle 25. This new sunspot activity could be a sign that the Sun is possibly revving up to the new cycle and has passed through minimum.
However, it takes at least six months of solar observations and sunspot-counting after a minimum to know when it’s occurred. Because that minimum is defined by the lowest number of sunspots in a cycle, scientists need to see the numbers consistently rising before they can determine when exactly they were at the bottom. That means solar minimum is an instance only recognizable in hindsight: It could take six to 12 months after the fact to confirm when minimum has actually passed.
This is partly because our star is extremely variable. Just because the sunspot numbers go up or down in a given month doesn’t mean it won’t reverse course the next month, only to go back again the month after that. So, scientists need long-term data to build a picture of the Sun’s overall trends through the solar cycle. Commonly, that means the number we use to compare any given month is the average sunspot number from six months both backward and forward in time — meaning that right now, we can confidently characterize what October 2019 looks like compared to the months before it (there were definitely fewer sunspots!), but not yet what November looks like compared to that.
On May 29, at 3:24 a.m. EST, a relatively small M-class solar flare blazed from these sunspots. Solar flares are powerful bursts of radiation. Harmful radiation from a flare cannot pass through Earth’s atmosphere to physically affect humans on the ground, however — when intense enough — they can disturb the atmosphere in the layer where GPS and communications signals travel. The intensity of this flare was below the threshold that could affect geomagnetic space and below the threshold for NOAA to create an alert
Nonetheless, it was the first M-class flare since October 2017 — and scientists will be watching to see if the Sun is indeed beginning to wake up.

Monkey excapes with Covid 19 test result.
A gang of monkeys attacked a laboratory assistant and escaped with a batch of coronavirus test samples, it has been reported.
The bizarre incident saw the troop of primates launch their assault near Meerut Medical College in Delhi, India.According to local media, the animals then snatched COVID-19 test samples from three patients and fled.
One of the monkeys was later spotted in a tree chewing one of the sample collection kits, the Times of India reported - adding that test samples from the patients had to be taken again.
It is the latest example of the highly intelligent, red-faced rhesus macaques taking advantage of India's nationwide lockdown to combat the spread of coronavirus.
